A fashion coursefor Bangalore students
One year in Shivamogga, from first sketch to the runway.
KIDAT is not in Bangalore. It is in Shivamogga, about 300 km away, and that is the point: a one-year, full-time diploma for ₹90,000 in total, nine students in a batch, and a studio where every student makes a collection for the runway.
- 1 year, full-time
- ₹90,000
- 9 seats
- 20 November 2026
Four reasons to look beyond the city
One year, ₹90,000 in total
The whole Graduate Diploma costs ₹90,000, paid in three parts. For comparison, fashion diplomas in India run from ₹30,000 to ₹2 lakh, and a B.Des from ₹2 to 8 lakh a year. What the fee covers
Nine students in a batch
Every student gets time at the cutting table and feedback from faculty on each piece, which is harder to get in a large class.
A collection on the runway
Students design and make their own collection and show it at Sutradhar, the KIDAT fashion show. The models for Sutradhar 2026 were auditioned in Bengaluru.
People from the industry in the room
Guest masterclasses bring in working professionals, from draping artist Harshavardhan Rai to model Punith Subbaiah. Watch the masterclasses
